Stress and Overwhelm
Stress and overwhelm are related but distinct psychological and emotional experiences that people often encounter in response to various life situations. Both stress and overwhelm can be effectively managed. Managing stress responses might involve: Gaining insight into our reactions to stressful events, inculing an understanding of when we typically react and why that might be the case. Developing a self care routine in life that supports us in our efforts to manage stress. Developing good personal boundaries and the ability to say no...which help us to avoid overburdening ourselves with too many tasks.
